Osprey On The Waccamaw

I did my introduction post in that section and wanted to post a pic here. My hobby is photography. I took this image on a river cruise in June on the Waccamaw. I shoot with a Canon R5 C. I had a 200-800mm lens on it.

What I like about birds is that are here year round, whether in my area or at the coast. There's always something available to shoot.

Agreed. We have ospreys living in my neighbor's tree, so I hear them every morning. Have red-shouldered and Coopers hawks also as regular visitors here until the crows drive them off.
