Is there anywhere within driving distance from Aiken or say 90 mile radius that does milling? I have several slides I want milled for RMS optics but keep getting mixed reviews on mailing them out and the turnaround time being really long. Thanks in advance

Listen, you don't need to ship your slide out and wait half a lifetime. Forget the Post Office stress! You’re in Aiken, which means you're super close to Augusta, Georgia. Your best bet is to drive a few miles over to C&B Quality Coatings. They're local, they do the RMS optic cuts, and folks rave about their turnaround time being way faster than the big mail-in guys.Seriously, call them up, drive over, and get it done, easy peasy

Wager Machine has done 3 for me. Probably the fastest in the industry (under a week) and only $85. (Used to be $60 - how time flies.)

Check with local gunsmiths in Augusta or Columbia, they might do slide milling in-house or know someone reliable nearby who does quality work quickly

Thanks for the info!! I’m new to this area. I moved up this way to work from Garden City SC

I know what you mean about the turnaround time being a real headache. I’d recommend checking out Concept Arms up near Anderson, SC. They're full-time gunsmiths and advertise slide milling services for optics, it’s likely within your driving distance and you avoid shipping hassle
