I'm wondering what made you pick your profile pic, some folks use their favorite firearm, a hunting memory or just a good laugh. If you don’t have one yet, what’s holding you back? Let’s hear the meaning (or mischief) behind your DP!

Mine is a vintage 45-70 case with the balloon head. Not sure when it was made, but it's marked "45 Govt" so my very uneducated guess is the case was made in the late 1920s or 1930s. I like shooting my Winchester 1886 45 Govt with 400 grain lead bullets and SR4759 powder. At that slow speed, the bullet still slaps the steel at 100 yards with authority.

Mine is a JP Sauer SxS, probably because how unique and beautiful it is. Bought it years ago on-line from a dealer for very little, probably because it's from 1894 and was made for black powder and has Damascus barrels. Is also a sidekick action with some great deep engraving that I like better than typical Germanic hunt scenes and oak leaves. I had the barrels inspected and refinished, use low pressure shells and it shoots like a dream.
