I've used AmmoSeek.com a few times when I was in the market for some 9mm and .223 ammo. It's been pretty handy for comparing prices across different retailers without having to jump from site to site. For the most part, the listings I've seen were accurate, but I did run into a couple of instances where the stock wasn't as advertised, so I always double-check with the seller before ordering. Just keep an eye out for the shipping costs, as some places try to lure you in with low prices but hit you hard at checkout. Overall, I think it's a legit tool, just tread carefully and don't forget to read the reviews of the sellers when you can.

I've used it for a few years now. I like the fact that I can easily look for the best price but you are correct in that you have to watch out for shipping costs.

If you're seein' any caliber for less than 50% off average pricing the one of two things is happening:

1. It's a scam.
2. The shipping fees are through the roof!

Search again, and use the filter for free shipping, or a score of 9 or better. That'll give you legit vendors who aren't trying to rip you off.

Also, there are seller scores on there. Obviously, avoid that bad ones.

Lastly, if you question the vendor's legitimacy, then do this -- search Google for the vendor's name and add "Reddit" to the end. Most likely, if there's been a bad experience with that vendor, someone has posted about it.

I agree with Dave. Ammo Seek gets a stipend from each of the sites they pass a customer to, and their pricing is often not the best if you consider tax, shipping, and hazmat.
I shop hard and often use Natchez. They often run free shipping and/or no hazmat fees. Check out their catalog.
Right now CCI Standard Primers #500 Small Pistol 1000/ct are $60/1,000, no hazmat.
Their .22LR is often at $0.065/round for JHP Standard Velocity.
If you're close enough to Palmetto Armory, in store for 9MM FMJ is $10.95/box. Hard to find 9MM for less than $0.21/round.

NOTE: Check AI - GROK or ChatGTP for any current discount promotions. Have found several that saved me $$$.

Though I reload many of thr popular calibers, prices have come down on stuff like 9mm and 223 that it's almost cheaper to buy factory ammo. Which is very tempting to me.
