Inexpensive Gun Safe/ Cabinet

As I continue to move small items to the farm, I keep toying with the idea of an inexpensive safe or gun cabinet to keep a .22LR, pistol of some sort and maybe an AR. Does such a thing exist? A small one that hold 8 or 10 long guns plus a little ammo should be sufficient.

This is a great idea, and the batteries can die on electronic locks and lock you out - I know! But even if it has an electronic lock don't let that be a deal breaker, you can usually change it out for a mechanical one yourself

I had a S&G dial lock fail on my safe.That was a real pain and several dollars.With the electronic locks you can change the batteries when they die and get in the safe.

Yes, there are budget-friendly steel gun cabinets that fit that need. Look at Stack-On style cabinets or similar basic lockable steel units, they’ll hold several long guns plus a pistol and ammo without breaking the bank.
