Animal behavior that freaked you out

I watched a deer just stare at me for like ten straight minutes without moving. It wasn't scared, just locked eyes and stood there and it was actually unsettling...Nature is strange sometimes.

I think that deer know their surroundings so well that anything out of the ordinary catches their attention. Sometimes they will stop and study the out of place object but most of the time they take off without another look.

Wouldn’t surprise me at this point, it felt like I was being evaluated.

That makes sense. When they don’t bolt, it’s almost creepier than when they do.
