I’ve bought a few firearms strictly for practical reasons then they won me over. A Glock 19 for carry, a Ruger 10/22 for training and a Tikka T3 for hunting all became unexpected favorites..
 
That happens more than people let on. When you put them to work, that’s when you start to trust those purchases . Once a gun proves its worth, time after time, you can't help but get attached.

That’s how it usually goes, reliable tools tend to become the ones you actually enjoy using the most.
