I’d love to hear from the community, what’s a hunting tradition you learned from your family? It could be a pre-hunt ritual, a special meal or a way you track and prepare game. Share your stories...

My family kept things super simple. We figured keeping our scent down was way more important than any fancy ritual

My dad (RIP) was only a small game hunter, he loved to squirrel and rabbit hunt. He stressed to me the importance of making an accurate shot by making sure your rifle is zeroed. He used a .22 for squirrel. Going with him for a morning hunt was always exciting. I still hunt and fish and I owe that love of the outdoors to him. I've hunted with my kids and have now fished with grandkids. Passing it on is very gratifying.
