Lost my favorite knife somewhere in the woods

I had that thing for probably ten years and I used it on every hunt. I realized it was gone when I got home and I'm genuinely bummed about it. It wasn't expensive or special, just mine you know? Ever lose a piece of gear that you actually cared about?

I found a knife stuck in a tree that my brother left while field dressing a deer from the previous season.I also found a 5 cell MagLight laying in the center of a gravel road where the weeds grow in the summer that the same brother lost a year ago.
