I like shooting with friends occasionally, but solo sessions let me focus entirely on my technique without distractions. It's almost meditative..but yeah both have their place but serve different purposes.

Solo is therapy, group is comedy but both empty ammo faster somehow every time though

I have friends I shoot with that help me perfect loads, techniques and just enjoy friendly competition. The best of both worlds. Of course, there is a healthy dose of fun, too. I shoot more with company but not necessarily better or more purposeful.

My better half and I go to the range every week. A couple friends meet us there every 2-3 weeks and we'll grab lunch after. On occasion I'll go solo, since it's down the road from my gym. Certainly range time is longer with friends, but I'm pretty good at just focusing on myself when in the lane that it doesn't really matter much to me. If I had a private range, on the other hand...

Awesome, friends turn every range session into learning, laughter, and just enough competition to keep it spicy.

Private range is the ultimate freedom..

I rarely shoot alone. I do shoot at a private range and because it's fairly remote, i make sure there's always at least 2 of us there in the event an accident happens. I keep med and trauma supplies in my truck but nothing beats having a second person there just in case.
