The range rule I think is unnecessary

Some indoor ranges have arbitrary rules like 'one round per second maximum' even when you're the only person there and shooting safely. I get why they don't want mag dumps, but controlling cadence that strictly when I'm trying to practice split times feels excessive. Safety rules make sense, arbitrary rules that don't improve safety are just annoying...

That rule kills rhythm, it feels like practicing driving but never leaving first gear.

Some I thought were dumb:
-one shot every two seconds
-no talking on the line
-can only shoot rifles from a bench
-no prone shooting
-anything dropped on the ground becomes range property (usually applies to brass)
