Unpopular opinion incoming

I think AKs are better than ARs for most people. Yeah I said it. They're simpler, more forgiving, and just work. ARs are great but everyone acts like they're perfect when they can be picky. Come at me AR guys, let's debate this.

AKs are ideal at what they were made for.They can usually hold "minute of human" groups.

While I agree to a point, I think the availability of parts makes ARs more approachable and intriguing for new owners

I don’t need a press or a welder to build my AR’s.

I prefer the modularity and ergonomics of AR's. That platform has come along way from the 1950's, especially when it comes to calibers.
