Hey everyone, curious to know what you keep next to you when you hit the hay. Is it your trusty pistol, a shotgun, or something else? Let's hear about your home defense setup!

As an NRA Counselor and SC CWP Instructor it's important to select an appropriate firearm to protect your home and family. I use the same firearm at my bedside as I carry and practice, practice, practice.
It's also critical to understand the laws in the state (when you may use deadly force, castle doctrine, etc.), as well as train (what you would do if there was an intruder in your home - especially if you have family (children).

Well there's the 9mm on the night stand, and the 12 gauge about 4 feet away. 9 if I think there's an intruder, 12 if I know.
