What's always in your truck bed?

I keep a toolbox, jumper cables, tow strap, and random bungee cords back there permanently. You never know when you'll need them. I had to help three different people last month with stuff from my bed. What do you keep back there all the time?

Pretty much the same. I also keep a small shoulder bag in the back seat with various EDC items and med kit stuff. The undersea box carries a heavy duty machete, folding saw and work light for clearing roadways should the need arise.

EDC and med kit plus tools like that cover almost any roadside scenario. Smart setup!

same here. Every time I open the truck bed I think, “yeah…time to clean this mess out.”

I keep 2 weatherproof boxes in the bed. one has essential survival stuff such as a med kit, glow sticks, survival blanket, water filter, etc. The other has a chest rig with spare mags, fixed blade knife, a hatchet, and handheld GMRS radio. Tow strap and jump box are in the cab usually under the back seat. Other stuff gets added when im traveling further from home than the normal everyday commute and can change depending on season. Hurricane and cold seasons get a chainsaw added when I travel along with proper safety gear.

What taught me what to keep in the truck was coming out of the woods at the end of a hunt hungry,cold its dark you are by yourself at the end of a logging road on WMA. It is the pre cel phone days and the battery is dead in the truck.
