I’ve been spending more time with my .22 pistol lately and it’s honestly become one of my favorite things to bring to the range. There’s something nice about being able to run drills without worrying about recoil fatigue or burning through expensive ammo.

Same. I have a Ruger Mark IV that I just love firing. Suppressor came in for it this week, so that's on my range list this week. The missus loves it except for the grooves on the trigger face bother her finger. Have to find another .22 pistol for her.

So -- you're either wanting to secretly buy yourself a new pistol and using the trigger as an excuse, OR you haven't looked into a replacement trigger. There are dozens of replacements that are smooth.
Rugers are great to suppress!

For the Mark IV, I got the special edition, so want to keep it exactly as delivered (attaching a suppressor notwithstanding). But, yeah, also happy to buy her another pistol since the more she has, the more I can have
