Cold-weather range problems nobody warns you about

- Magazines freezing together if they get wet
- Electronics dying because batteries hate cold
- Your breath fogging up safety glasses constantly
- Metal parts so cold they hurt to touch.

And my personal favorite; trying to manipulate controls with gloves on but needing gloves because everything's painfully cold. Cold weather shooting is basically character building!

Nailed it!! Cold turns simple tasks into a circus but if your gear and skills work then, they’ll work anywhere

So true Cold turns everything into hard mode. If you can run your gear in that mess, you’ve definitely earned some character points.

The cold makes small mistakes worse, I have learned to slow down and treat range days in the winter as practice for being more careful.
