In light of the gun shop thread, let's see if we can track down some FFL's with decent transfer fees.

My two dudes are both $100 for Form 4 transfers.

Do y'all know if anyone significantly cheaper? (And, yes, I'm well aware of Capital Armory shipping to my door and no fees with SS affiliated dealers.)
 
I’ve done my NFA shopping through Allied Arms in Summerville so transfers have not been a problem. I understand transfers from outside purchases are 100.00. I haven’t found any cheaper around me.
 
My local FFL charges 50 bucks for Form 4 transfers on NFA stuff. Its a home based guy so no overhead and he does it quick with eForms. Allied Arms sounds high at 100 but yeah some places are like that now.
 
Yeah, $100 for Form 4 transfers is pretty standard. Some places charge more, some less. It's like shopping for ammo...prices vary, but you gotta find the right fit for your wallet
 
I used a couple local FFLs myself, one small-town shop charged $50 for a Form 4 transfer and handled everything quickly, another (bigger shop) wanted $100 but turned it around faster. Also used a pawnshop once for $45 , it was slower but cheap. Watch for hidden processing or shipping fees, ask if they include return postage up front.
